Last of the lambs lettuce

A few weeks ago, I sorted out the lambs lettuce bed at the front of the plot - pricking out the remaining tiny seedlings and repositioning them so they had space to grow. I then watered and mulched the bed with a very thin layer of green + woody mulch.

I was a bit worried they might not bulk up in the dry weather but here they are, popping through the mulch.

I'm looking forward to the final harvest of the winter, before the spring/summer leaves.
