More Spring

Another beautiful day. Like yesterday, I only worked until lunchtime, went outside for a long break, and did some light gardening and chores in the afternoon. The cats were happy to help, especially with the pruning, but after less than one hour I felt tired already.

The mild temperatures are luring more and more insects out of hiding - bees, beetles and bluebottles (sorry, P!). I was glad to spot this native seven-spot ladybird. They are becoming quite rare, compared to the invading Asian harlequin beetles.
