In A Whorl

There was enough meltwater flowing down this outflow to capture my attention. It is usually frozen or dry. Why there are bubbles at this point, I have no idea, but the movement of the water periodically caused a block to break off and drift away. As it did so, the breakaway bubbles move in a spiral.

It took some experimenting with shutter speed and timing to capture an interesting pattern. Too slow and the bubbles became blurry, too fast, there wasn't enough movement..
