Kittiwake Cove

Katie and Gordon thrilled by the power of the waves in the cove by Dunbar castle. The walls are lined with kittiwakes and the noise was quite wonderful.

Big Breakers.

We went to the swimming pool after we gave up on the weather improving - it couldn't have been more different from yesterday's blue skies and warmth. Still, we made the most of it and had a ball in the pool. Katie is super-keen on the flume now and the boys don't need my supervision so it's really great fun after 12 years of saving the enthusiastic but suicidal bairns from themselves.

Everyone is hoping for better weather tomorrow. The Met Office reckons it's going to be dry (great!) but very foggy (damn). Not a day for climbing hills then. We'll think of something...
