Potatoes chitting

I started chitting my seed potatoes quite early this year but the shoots are still short because we've had a lot of dark days in recent weeks. 

I'm hoping to put them in the ground late March - I always plant them around my birthday. Would be good to get some rain first so the soil is workable.
