Living it up

A really laid-back start to the day, with a light breakfast on our little terrace. After some debate about how to spend the day, we decided to make our way down Avenida de Tirajana to the coast. We found an okay little restaurant for lunch on the way and then continued right down to the rather posh Rui Palace hotel which is a popular spot for watching the sunset over the Maspalomas dunes. We were early for that, though, so decided just to lay back in style by the hotel’s pool and toss back a couple of cocktails.

After a siesta back home we managed to find a restaurant (NU:Taste) that our friends had recommended. Carl was happier with the food than I was.
