World Thinking Day

Normally on the 22nd February, World Thinking Day, I try to wear my Guide badge or something else from my many years involvement in Brownies, Guides, Rangers and later on, as a Guider. This wasn't possible this year because I'm in India. I was thrilled therefore, when on my way for breakfast we drove along High Ground Road and it was lined, all the way along one side, by girls and boys in Scout and Guide uniforms. Never one to miss a chance I smiled as we drove along then got Raja to stop so I could go and take some pictures. As Thinking Day is the day to think about those members of the Guide and Scout movements all over the world it was very appropriate. The extra shows a little of the extent of the numbers involved and the distance the line stretched. It was lovely to see.
last day at school this week as I'm off to Bangalore tomorrow to Sunday. Looking forward to meeting a very precious little girl born on the 31st January. .
