Pastel Sky....

With a sliver of a moon.

David and Mary left today and it was bittersweet.  David has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. We've known for about 2 years but we saw a pretty marked progression from a year and a half ago.  He still has his sense of humor and is trying to stay positive, but he has slowed down considerably. He and Jon played 9 holes of golf and we did walk around Wilmington and drove to the outskirts to give him and Mary "the tour". They are on to Tybee Island in Georgia for a few days.  Their lives are full with children and grandchildren and I hope this disease slows down enough to allow him some more time to enjoy his life.  It can all be so cruel.

Otherwise, it was a beautiful spring day with a nice breeze.  We got some things done in the yard and are really having to hold back because after all, it is still February.  We were gifted with this gorgeous sky tonight. This has not been altered in any way other than to crop it.
