Perfect day

After the inclement weather over the past few days, today was beautiful.
I had just returned from the shops when my friend messaged me to say she was going swimming at the Tanks  (the beach 's name for some or other reason!!), so I quickly dumped the shopping bags, changed, and went for a swim. The water was clear and pleasant. We saw lots of fish, and an interesting long stick, which when we fished it out of the water found it to be a spear from a spear gun, engraved beautifully with a name. My friend will try and trace the owner, hopefully it's someone in the village.
Our water tank is still lying uninstalled in the garden....it had better be installed by the time we get some rain!
