Sailing

This is the annual " Round Salt Spring Race" I was very lucky! The boats passed by about two hours into the race. The wind was blowing well, and it wasn't raining yet.
Shortly thereafter, the rain came down, the wind quieted and all the poor sailors were sitting becalmed for I don't know how long. I saw a couple motoring back the way they came at about four o'clock! Some years this race goes on for 24 hrs. And longer, although, I guess it's not a race by then.
