Damp Day in Shetland

Up at 630am, it was fine, that didn't last long and the rain started.  Poured all day, easing off this evening.  Windy most of the day.

A morning around the house, and then nipped down to see Laura on my way to work.  Late shift in the airport again, HIAL staff are still on strike.  I've had a day sorting out some filing.  Walkies with Sammy, and bumped into friend Julie.  Mam swung by on her way home.  I've had to help her with some apps on her phone.  Feet up now.

This has to be the wettest winter in a long time, if not the wettest winter ever.  This rain and wind seems to be continuous, with a break every now and again.  The ground really can't hold anymore, yet it keeps on coming.  We'll certainly not run out of fresh water anytime soon.  A dull grey view over Ocraquoy, Cunningsburgh.
