Stormy at Dore Holm
A wild day of gales. It poured down most of the morning, sunny spells in the afternoon, and then showers turned wintery, also tonight.
Last day of my holidays, and worst day of weather. It was a lazy morning about the house, finally a break and got out for a quick walk with Sammy. Headed out in the afternoon for some storm chasing. A good walk this afternoon around Scalloway. Mam, dad and I were invited to Laura's for tea tonight, which Eve made, it was delicious. We also managed a walk with the dogs. Early night tonight.
A good day for some wave watching, but due to the showers, I didn't want to go too far off any beaten track, so headed north. The sun had been out, but as it clouded over and a shower on it's way, the winds picked up, so did the waves. This croft house must have some amazing views in the winter months, well, if they can see through the salty windows. This was one of the many crashing into the Dore Holm, from West Hogaland, Eshaness.
