Empty Nest

A lovely walk round the reservoir with a new friend from book club. Walking and talking is a great way to get to know each other better. We agreed to do it again soon.

When I got back I found this tiny, beautifully made nest lying on the grass verge. A little work of art.

Home to a slice of banana bread and watching some tennis on TV. A very pleasant day.
