I’m in the Garden

Yes, it’s still cold and yes, I know there is still ‘lamb snow’ to come, but the birds are singing their hearts out, all kinds of things are coming up in the garden and that’s where you’ll find me at every possible moment. I can’t remember which kind friend gave me an “I’m in the Garden” sign but it is being well used at the moment. So happy to see my first tiny daffodil in flower in a hanging basket.

Ash Wednesday so I forwent Book Group to go to the ashing service in the village church. I love the age old words “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return” - they remind me of my place in the universe, and that the things that worry and threaten to overwhelm me are no more than tiny specks in the great scheme of things.
