Flower Friday.
Couldn’t do an outside photo for Flower Friday. These are some photos I took about 12 years ago and framed. They hang on the wall in our downstairs toilet/ cloakroom.
Mr C thanks you all for your concern and good wishes. Fortunately he is much better today.
However it is now me who is in the wars.
I tripped over a small wire “ fence” at our youngest son’s house. It was across the driveway supposedly to keep the little dog from running out into the road.
I stepped over it as usual, but unfortunately caught the toe of my shoe and went flying.
Bruised knees, but also twisted my foot.
Now very painful when I put weight in it. Don’t think anything is broken. Taken a couple of paracetamols and they have eased the pain.
May not be doing any long walks for a while.
However it is nothing compared to what a friend of ours has suffered.
John who is now 85 and lives alone, with his dog, since his wife died, ( on the photo I blipped a few days ago) fell last Friday and broke his hip. A neighbour found him next morning. Now in Pinderfields.
We had been trying to ring him for days. He hasn’t a mobile only a land line.
Hoping he isn’t too bad and will make a speedy recovery.
