Ji came round to help with fitting the new control unit on one of the Roman blinds in the lounge. It took a while to work out how to do it and we had to take the adjacent blind down to get access but we got there in the end! She stayed for coffee of course so it was 1pm when she left. I hung the laundry out, had some lunch and decided what extra bits to cook for supper with Su tomorrow. Nipped out to the supermarket to buy the food, nd what i needed for dads on Sunday, so ended up with rather a full trolley. The fruit and veg shelves weren’t as empty as i was expecting. Hot home, put the wallpaper pieces for the drawers in to to soak and did some food bank admin. Peeled the backing from the wallpaper- tricky but i had already experimented with a blunt knife- and stuck it onto the drawers. Left it to dry and then put it in place in the downstairs loo.
