Capital Walks
Spent a lovely day with middle son K in Congleton today.
Packed my car with my overnight bag, new outfit for each of the little granddaughters, O&I, one of Ks Dads Kia Care Kits, I found 3 in the garage, which I’ve started to clear out!
He can now wash n polish n shine his “green machine” (that’s what we all call his lime green car lol) to his hearts content!
We met up in the town centre, first stop was Costa for a coffee and catch up, as we’ve not seen each other for a good few weeks.
He is in a much better place now, a year on from his divorce, has a new job, his mental health is so much better, he looks good too…. and he is happy, skint, but happy :-)
We went into the new “food court” called Capital Walks, you choose your preferred cuisine from a variety of vendors, order via QR codes and it’s brought your table, all very civilised and delicious too!!
Todays blip is the Italian vendor making his pizza dough with great care & attention.
We had Chinese style also delish!
We picked the girls up from Grandmas and took them swimming, as lively as ever lol.
I left just after 6, drive cross country to pick C up at Newark station at 8.15….. a very long day for him, 15 hours!
Think he was glad to see me waiting for him :-)
Oh yes……and sold the house today, happy & sad about that!
