Bird . . .

. .  of paradise flower.
A lovely hot start to the day; followed by a bout of high winds and short showers then back to a pleasantly warm temp.  May have been the tail end of the cyclone Freddy blowing through.
The bird of paradise (strelitzia) flowers are looking splendid in the sunshine.
Preparing for another evening of entertainment tonight - I'm on puds so decided to make a bread and butter pudding. It is looking good....the menfolk especially will be happy, as they don't often get pudding, apart from home made ice cream!  Living on a production farm cream is easy to 'find' - so I used quite a lot in the b&b pud too.
