Sleeper bus

The bus stopped at 3 in the morning as we had either hit a cow or we were picking it up of the road. Waited for 3 hours there as apparently we had also broken down, we were in the middle of nowhere. They got it working again and we then stopped 2 hours later for 2 hours this time. We all had to unload our backpacks and take a new sleeper bus. We then arrived in Paksan and had to take another bus. This bus only took us 5 minutes into the town and from there we were told we had to buy new tickets for the next morning as we had missed our bus to the port. Got a bit noisy in the small ticket place. In the end we paid 10,000kip each to get a minivan there. Had to wait 2 hours for it. We all got completely squished into it. It was a 10 seater and there was 14 of us! When we were only 30km away from nakasong the whole tyre tread came off. We were lucky it didn't pop as we would've probably gone off the road! Waited another hour for them to change the tyre. Finally got to the port place and we all got onto a tiny wobbly boat, that took us to Don Det. Found a nice hostel, we are sharing with a guy that we met in Vang Vieng and the other guy that we met is sharing a 2 bedroom room with someone else.
