Flower Friday ...

... new leaves.

Whilst walking around the backyard looking for anything floral I saw that one of our trees is getting some new leaves already!  Just more proof of the warm winter we've had so far.  I know it's not exactly a flower but we don't have many of those around the house just yet.  Sadly we can't have flowers in the house on the account that many of them are poisonous to cats.  

But Spring is just around the corner and so we should see some of our outside flowers start to bloom.  At least I hope so!

We attended a play tonight at Act I at DeSales University.  As I've mentioned before we are season ticket holders to their wonderful theater program.  We usually attend at least four shows throughout the season.  Tonight's play was Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" and it was beautifully done.  The lead actor playing John Worthing (Ernest) was the understudy and he was fantastic!  It was also his first production!
