Display change

At the building where my photographic society meets, we occasionally have small exhibitions between our main annual exhibition at a local shopping centre.  We also have a permanent picture frame (situated between the reception area, in the background here, and the Ladies and Gents - so plenty of passing traffic!) where we display just one print which I change roughly every month.  I was there this afternoon putting up a new print, which seemed to attract immediate attention.  I hope the concert-goers this evening enjoy the photograph.

The purpose of the display is to show off the work of our members.  The building manager also thinks it is a good addition to the walls of this theatre/cinema/meeting venue.  Our hope, of course, is that it might even attract visitors who are interested in photography to come and visit our club - although in the 10 years or so that we have had this display I am not aware of a single member being recruited as a result of it.
