Wet

Another miserable wet day.  How much more rain can there be?  We certainly were not tempted to sit outside at the table in the back yard of our lighthouse cottage. (Not sure what is in the other building behind the table.)

Fortunately we had prearranged a special lunch at a local restaurant which we have visited before.  There were nine adults and a toddler at the meal, which was nominally to celebrate three birthdays in the group at around this time.  The food was excellent, the conversation lively and we all enjoyed it.  It was the perfect activity for such miserable weather.

Fortunately I didn't have to use my car to get to the restaurant.  The tyre is now completely flat and the breakdown company have arranged for the car to be transported tomorrow morning to a tyre dealer.
