MRI done and dusted

Thank you all so much for the kind birthday wishes, hearts and stars yesterday for Geordie’s birthday. We appreciate them hugely.

Geordie had a good walk in the woods, and run on the beach this morning with Jim and Fiona, while I walked around town. I carried my stick rather than using it, not quite confident enough to leave it at home yet. I walked a mile and a quarter, then this afternoon I walked another mile with G. on the coastal path. Really pleased with my distance today.
Between coming back from my second walk and heading to Dunfermline for the MRI, Bruce came down from Aberdeenshire with my car. So good to have it back, even just sitting in the drive. He had it washed and valeted, MOT’d it, and got a new front tire fitted, so I’m over the moon. He got a taxi to the station, then a train back up North.
Can’t wait to get out in my car again. I’ve written a list of places I want to go. Nowhere far, but I’m just desperate to walk in places I haven’t been for a while.
