A washer load of laundry done this morning and while there was a bit of brightness and warmth I managed some tidying outside at the front of the house.

After lunch the first off road test of one pair of shoes. First impressions are good, though it was just a short (1.5 mile) circuit from home.

I noticed that the door into the stone barn from the corrugated extension was open and I think one of the carts (traps) that I’ve blipped before had been removed because I could get close enough to peep through. I got the photo holding my phone at arm’s length. From the public footpath the roof, although bending, seems intact but today’s view shows a hole on the other side. It was interesting to see the fallen slates stacked.
