Orchids

Another indoor blip as with a garden exposed to the cold Easterly wind, not a day for outdoor photography with freezing fingers. The Orchid on the left is just beginning to flower and was given to me by a neighbour last year as she was unable to get it to flower again after buying it in bloom. I think position and temperature are important so this might be the cause of her lack of success.
