Anyone for Quidditch?

Alnwick Castle does not open until end of March.

I was allowed this sneak peek through the main gate by a friendly guard!
It is one of the most familiar film locations and when it reopens the tourists will return in their droves. Today it was a haven of tranquility.

Our plan to see The Flying Scotsman centenary exhibition earlier at the NRM were thwarted by the museum not being open on Mondays and Tuesdays!
