Green goblin

We left Boston on the Amtrak Acela train to New York and the train route clings to the coastline giving great views on both sides of the track. The journey takes three an a half hours and our hotel was only a couple of blocks from Penn Station so we could walk there and get checked in. We are staying in Chelsea in mid-town Manhattan so after a rest we headed out to explore. It was Friday night rush hour and the streets were packed with people and after the relaxed vibe in Boston is was slightly overwhelming.

We walked up to Times Square and then doubled back to the hotel as we were both tired. The picture was taken from our hotel and the Empire State building looked very striking lit up in green.
