Spring birds

A walk over the field to this local reservoir this morning was rewarding with uplifting sights and sounds.

14 Curlew feeding the fields, 19 Lapwing overhead, 6 Oystercatchers sitting at the waters edge.

On a different route home a large flock of Starling (about 200) took flight as I walked by.

In the afternoon we returned to High Street Books with some Classical Vinyl box sets ( no value ) and Nature and History books (some value). We hope someone enjoys them and getting them out of the house means a little reduction in dust and a small increase in Oxygen in the upstairs rooms.
