A walk in the park

While Marlane was busy downtown I took Jonty to Hillfield Gardens, London Road, in Gloucester. It's a lovely park with some very, very, old follies and bits of ancient buildings etc. but also old trees. The one in the top photo is absolutely massive as you can see from the long branches hanging down to the ground. The trunk is also very thick but can't really see that in the photo. 
There is a small garden area with sculptures so I got Jonty to pose in one.
And then in comparison with the massive tree I took a photo of some miniature daffodils. 
And I was only 2 minutes away when she called to say she was ready for picking up.
Jonty had a good day, he always likes that park.
