Party Time and Aunty Bex is here to visit!

Yay, Oscar and Bailee were very excited to see Aunty Bex. Surprisingly they let her sleep in. We had a party to go to (Well actually two but sadly couldn't make both). The twins never get the concept that you don't wake up in the morning and go straight to the party. They are always anxious and excited to go as soon as possible.

The party was great fun. About 8 children from their class were there and they had a blast doing gymnastics, finding treasure, decorating pirate and princess scenes and eating party food. Speaking of pirates and princesses. lucky Aunty Bex read the invitation that we needed to dress up!

Stu and I were very impressed at Oscar and Bailee's markedly improved gym skills. Oscar shot about 5 basketballs straight through the net. He had a great shot, holding his hands and throwing like a pro. They both carefully walked along the beam and jumped off the end like they had been doing it all their lives. They also both bounced and jumped very well on the trampoline...... they have always been a bit 'behind' with jumping (We all have our things!) They have obviously been enjoying gym class at school!

That evening Stu babysat and Becky and I had a relaxed dinner overlooking the Marina at Shakespeare and Co. We had a bit of a shop around and then arrived home only to see Stu cuddling wide-eyed Maple on the couch.
