Looking dramatic…

today, with plenty of water and no people. It’s some years since I was last here and the viewing platform had just been built.It straddles the start of the fall and all 46metres of it are visible beneath your feet. I remember standing up there once with a friend who was leaning on a tree to take a picture. I was unhappy about his stance and next time I came the tree had fallen. When I told him, he was silent momentarily, then said ‘ Don’t tell my wife.’
