Well, it has not been the Wednesday I expected. That is fine. 

Any irritations about last night's incredibly late postponement are balanced by the benefit of avoiding the ordeal of public transport in the rush hour. 

I used part of the unexpected free time to walk in to the town centre for lunch, and then visit the library yet again. 

My day's other highlight was making coleslaw using a recipe for Japanese ginger dressing. Of course I am left with a massive quantity of unused cabbage (red and white) so my inventiveness will be called on tomorrow as I figure out what to do with it. Blaukraut maybe...
