Red Wing Blackbird Song

The song of the Red Wing Blackbird is the first bird song I learned to recognize; it is very unique and loud. This is the first time I have gotten a RWB straight-on singing; extra shows the wing color, a little.

Ellie's school was canceled today. Public school started two hours late because of ice, so since Ellie goes to school in the morning, it was closed. Ellie was NOT happy; she really wanted to go to school, but I told her we could do home school. We had a fun morning with a lot of imaginary play. 

A library trip was easy since the ice melted quickly and the roads and sidewalks were completely safe. We only dropped off and picked up books on-hold because we both have coughs. The bird was in a tree near the parking lot.
