Dragonfly

This felt like a perfect day. It was sunny, warm, breezy, and we spent most of our day at a lovely reserve near West Chester. My sweetheart wanted to install some data monitors in the stream for work, so we all went as a family to picnic and hike as well. We also met up with another family which led to a bit of fishing in the pond, looking at insects under the microscope, sailing toy sailboats along the stream, and splashing about in the cool water.

Of course I had loads of fun blipping. These dragonflies are a bit nervous with four kids circling about, so this is the best capture I could get. I just love its color.
