Quand on veut, on peut

This is everyone in the Les Sables group, on our last night together. And yes, for once I'm in this photograph...see if you can spot me! Tomorrow, Adam and Louis head off for Jard-Sur-Mer, and I have finally found out where I will be spending my summer...La Forêt, South Brittany. Not my first choice to be completely honest, but I'm going to be managing my own site with one other girl...not sure how she is going to be, but hopefully she will be nice!

My day was spent in Jard montaging again with Abi. It is pretty good when we get to work with each other as we work really well together, but I wouldn't want to be on Sol with her...too sandy! Never been to my own site, but will hopefully be pretty! The interesting event of the day was probably Jemma ending up in hospital after opening her top lip with the frame of a pull-out bed while montaging. Everyone was really worried about her, but it turned out that she just needed it glued...hilarious watching her drink tea through a straw though!

After the barbeque we had as a group in the evening we headed to the beach for the last time. Unfortunately it ended up raining (so disappointing!), but it was still pretty warm...but when it started hammering it down we decided it was probably time for bed!

Again, pretty short; so here is something from 'The Old Curiousity Shop' by Charles Dickens, on the subject of conscience:-

In the majority of cases, conscience is an elastic and very flexible article, which will bear a deal of stretching and adapt itself to a great variety of circumstances. Some people by prudent management and leaving it off piece by piece like a flannel waistcoat in warm weather, even contrive, in time, to dispense with it altogether; but there be others who can assume the garment and throw it off at pleasure; and this, being the greatest and most convenient improvement, is the one most in vogue.
