Are you talking to me

This box was a present from Max and Annie a few years ago. I cannot remember if it contained sweets of biscuits, but they are long gone. 

The lid speaks, the voices of M & A can be heard wishing us Merry Christmas. I don’t know what activates it, sound or vibrations …… ? But it just talks at times when there isn’t anyone near it.

I got a bit fed up with it one day and hid the lid away, ending up loosing it. On Tuesday I had been doing some decluttering and suddenly the little voices could intermittently be heard somewhere upstairs. I eventually tracked them down and found the lid under the cover on the spare bed, it hasn’t been there all of the time it has been missing. 

I had a long FaceTime session with Alison this morning, she’s mum to M & A and will have bought the box for me as the gift. It sat on the side and chipped in to the conversation intermittently. I might have to park it somewhere out of hearing range as there isn’t an on / off switch.
