It's moquette, of course it is, and one that didn't fit the train livery on the outside. EMR in case you were wondering.

This is all sounding a bit obsessive, yes I know, but a pal of mine is very interested in this stuff, so I sent this picture and within minutes I received an answer, which I'm not going to divulge to let those of you who also have an interest in moquette to do your thing.
