Grey chilly morning- not much springlike about today. Noticed that the miniature irises were in flower though - very pretty. Went to the supermarket for food shopping for me and to buy the contents for an emergency food parcel . We tend to buy the cheaper own brand food but as it was for four days i also bought fresh milk, bananas and veg. I was quite surprised as to how much i got for £10 tbh.
Got home and cleaned up the outside freezer after a tub of veg stock had exploded and covered most things in there! Made the lasagne base for Sunday, cut some shapes for patchwork, detached some baby spider plants and suspended them in water so that they will root and did some sewing for the cover for my small stool.
Did the m and s foodbank pickup in the evening. Lots of bread and pastries
