Dunblane

Not a particularly interesting picture, although there had been a terrific side light from the setting sun (which by the time I stopped and got out I missed) but just at this moment Radio Scotland was playing 'Dunblane' a beautiful piece by Bonnie Rideout and Paula Glendinning (Bonnie Rideout and The City of Washington Pipe Band ((Maggies Music)) - whom I had never heard of before). In 1996 on this day 16 children and their teacher were killed in the Dunblane Massacre. I remember news footage of mums running to the school - it stuck with me because my daughter had just started nursery at the time. A very sad time for all those involved. This music is very poignant and evocative, well worth a listen - it'll have you in tears. It did me.
