Perth

We've walked just short of 16km's today as we trekked all over the Perth CBD.  A highlight was seeing the State Library of WA on the other side of the railway line.  It was truly spectacular.  I have added an extra of the main library area.  What a wonderful building it is.  My main image is the ceiling and its surrounds, very hard to photograph but quite wonderful.

It's after 11.00pm and we've returned from the most amazing concert at the Perth Concert Hall.  The Kronos Quartet were playing there tonight and it was one of the most incredible performances I have ever seen.  The four musicians have been playing together for 50 years.  It was a wonderful night and one we won't forget.  They were one of the main feature acts of the Perth Festival that is running at the moment.  Lucky that they were scheduled to be playing tonight.  It was a great warm up for Mauzee's birthday tomorrow :)
