The Other End Of The Beach

We walked along the beach to this headland this morning where we found a bench where we could sit and read our books for a while and admire the view. Our hotel is at the far end of the beach in this photo.

On the way back we may have stopped in a couple of bars for drinks and lunch. We explored the Old Town a bit more this afternoon so with over 20000 steps clocked up we went to a restaurant about 3 minutes walk away this evening, Casa da Fonte, where we sat in the tiled courtyard next to the fountain that gives the place its name.

It was extremely busy and you could see why: excellent food, efficient  service and great atmosphere.
