Sharpham Heath
We met Kate and Sophie for a walk at Sharpham Heath Nature Reserve this morning, taking them on the route Tess and I walked a few weeks ago to the Decoy Hide.

It was decidedly boggy in places but, as you can see, a perfect morning for cloud reflections.
We spent some time in the hide where a keen bird watcher kindly let Sophie get a close view of some of the wildfowl through her monocular, before heading back to the busy Avalon Marshes cafe for a beef and horseradish roll and a slice of one of their excellent sponge cakes.
