Chocolate, cheese and wine

A challenging day - my young teens were out of sorts, understandably. One looked particularly sad, another commented her teacher had lost a relative. My Aspy was in full attention seeking mode, because, as he said, his dad had hit him again. I had to explain to the kid people might be hurting. I’m out of my depth here.
I was glad when the day was over and went to Lidl.
The metro will be on strike again tomorrow except between 9am - 4pm - to get people in and out of the city for a lunchtime protest. I think I’ll go in late in the day for my swim. It’ll either be overwhelmingly sad or dangerous or both.
