Albufeira Old Town

This morning we walked through the high part of the Old Town above the beach, where this narrow street caught my eye. There is an exhibition of old mono photos of early 19C Portuguese life by a Portuguese photographer, whose name escapes me now, on the wall near to our hotel, which inspired me to give this one a bit of treatment.

We passed the old port gate to the town (in extras) before heading along the road past more modern villas and apartments and down to the beach just beyond where yesterday’s blip was taken.

Once again we sat and read for a while before walking yesterday’s route back along the beach.

A bit of a stroll mid afternoon to look at a couple of local churches then back to our room for more reading while keeping an eye on another narrow defeat forYeovil on the website.

Just back from another excellent meal at the same restaurant we went to on Thursday.
