Thank you Joe Tree

This is a belated post and thank you to Joe Tree founder of Blipfoto in 2004 and celebrated annually on March 1 with Blippers posting an image of a tree.

Spotted this hundred plus year old oak tree in the woods behind Stirling University, and I am ashamed to say it is an area I had never visited before.

We are bracing ourselves for a cold spell where temperatures are expected to plummet well below zero.

Heard today from a volunteer on the Food Train that one of their customers, a 90-year-old woman, has taken up smoking. She reckons at her age she has nothing to loose and it gives her something to do and relieves the boredom of her daily life.
