A snail?
Well! This wasn't going to be my blip, an early evening walk down in the woods, looking for blips, found a snail on a tree, spent ages trying to get it at a good angle, on my knees, twisting here, bending there! That will be fine I thought contentedly.
On the way back home dusk was coming and we kept hearing a loud bird like noise, at first we thought it was a duck, then we saw it, still not realising what it was, we then thought it was a heron. But no it was a peacock!!
I live on a quiet cul du sac but not tonight by the time id been stood with my camera pointing in the air and with the noise it was like a pyjama party! On New Year's Eve ! Everyone was out.
E remarked that they had peacocks at his school and it turned out that it had escaped from E's school
The pea cock jumped from roof to roof calling for its mate until it was too dark for us all to see.
The school are aware and say it will come back, until then , I thought it was a more exciting blip than a snail ;)
