A real Royal Navy Rum Tub, if you were lucky enough to find one, would cost you over £5,000.
In all probability it would read across the front;
“The Queen God Bless Her” and up to a week or so ago ours did but it has now been updated and should last future RNA Branch members well into the future. Standing atop our replica tub is a bottle of our preferred tipple, Pussers Rum.

As I suspected a long and tiring day at the Thursday Gang today and we were there in good numbers. I spent the day outside installing new conduit and running the cables to supply power to the new external sockets. I left a ‘Daisy’ chain of outside lights on when I had finished so that the Clubhouse Manager would know that the sockets were working.
By the time I left for home I was pretty tired, Mrs S was working so Paddy and I set off for a shortened walk back up to the rugby so I could collect my baseball cap.
