Neighbours

Today was spent moving a lot of soil around the garden.  I didn't quite finish it off - I have about a quater of the second bag still to do, but just got too tired to complete.  The big empty bed is now full, the bed with the apple trees in has been topped up and the gravel removed, and I've planted my cheap soft fruit canes from Tesco - lets see if they actually take!

In the midst of it all, neighbour R came round and gave me a pot of these  beautiful leucojum vernum which I'll have a think about where to plant. They should spread quite nicely once out of the pot and were very gratefully recieved.  Tonight we're heading around to our other neighbour's house as they have invited us for tea and we're both looking forward to it!
