The unidentified tree

Just about finished off my jabs in the garden this afternoon.  Had  lazy morning watching a film with P, then moved the rest of the soil and got my gooseberry bushes planted.  Now comes the fun bit of buying some veg to put into the bed - might have to wait until after the forecast snow though. 

Had a lovely evening with the neighbours and two of their daughters last night, chatting about all sorts of things and eating some very good food.  Lovely to have such great people on the doorstep.

The pretty tree is starting to bud now and I'm hoping the flowers will help us identify it, as it is dodging our attempts at identification!
