View from the car charger
I wrote quite a long screed last night, then I was overenthusiastic with scrolling down, my tablet read that as refresh, and whoosh! all was gone!
So you get an abbreviated version now I have slept and gained some energy.
Early start. Drove to our house. Spent time looking for a record of the MPRN for electricity - failed to find it.
Did a bit of cleaning (the vendor has left the house pretty clean, but I obviously would like to give it a once over) and sorting.
Then to Waterford, where the sales lady in Electrocity was impressive, and we have assembled some thoughts on a replacement fridge freezer - sadly our first choice won't fit the gap, as it's too tall!
Late lunch whilst the car was charging.
Coffee and cake in New Ross whilst the car charged further*. We've used Ann McD's cafe before, and were pleased to find it was still open despite the fact that it ws latish afternoon on a Sunday in March.
Back to the house briefly to remeasure the hole.
And then back to the AirBnb, where I attempted (and failed) my blip!
* As mentioned previously, ESB, the owners of many of the public chargers in Ireland, apply an €8 penalty if you charge for more than 45 minutes. It's a good idea, to ensure fair availability of restricted numbers of chargers, but that means we need two bites if we've allowed our charge level to drop below about 25%.
